Ms. Sarah J is from Mequon and graduated from Homestead High School. She is currently attending Penn Foster, an online college, to receive her degree to become a Veterinarian Technician. Her hopes are to work for a veterinarian that deals with dogs and cats but also helps horses, cows, and other farm animals. She is an avid runner and ran throughout high school and in college before she transferred. Her plans are to one day qualify and run the Boston Marathon. But besides running Sarah loves to swim and grew up swimming in the lake at her cabin all summer which is why being able to swim is so important to her. She wants other kids to be able to have the same experiences as she did and for parents to not have to be scared of their kids possibly drowning. She has worked with kids at summer camps, babysitting, and through her church’s youth children’s program. Sarah is certified in CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguarding. Her hopes are to teach children that swimming isn’t something that’s scary and neither is the water. Sarah has a strong outgoing personality. She loves meeting the kids that she gets to teach and learn about their favorite things and what their days were like. Besides running and swimming her other favorite interests are hiking, backpacking, camping, canoeing, kayaking, cross country skiing, playing with her rabbit Noodles, and playing with her dog Bailey.
