April 10, 2014.  We at Splash! already know this, and have been witness to it, but according to the CDC, water based exercise can help people with arthritis. It improves the use of their affected joints, but does not worsen or aggravate symptoms. Arthritis sufferers seem to make the most health improvements doing their exercises in the water (hydrotherapy), than with other exercises. It also helps decrease pain.
